Crazy Time Explained: The Wheel, the Top Slot and Four Bonus Games

A colourful money wheel with a top hat in the centre

Evolution's most famous game show looks chaotic, but the rules fit on one page. Here is what each segment does and what the numbers mean.

Crazy Time by Evolution is a live game show built around a giant money wheel, a presenter and four bonus rounds. It looks complicated, but every round follows the same steps.

The wheel

The wheel has 54 segments. Four are numbers — 1, 2, 5 and 10 — and pay that amount if the wheel stops on them. The other segments trigger one of four bonus games. You can bet on any combination of the eight outcomes.

The Top Slot

Before each spin, a two-reel Top Slot above the wheel picks a bet spot and a multiplier. If the wheel then stops on that spot, the multiplier applies — to a number payout or carried into a bonus game.

The four bonus games

  • Coin Flip — a red and a blue side each get a multiplier; a coin decides which one pays.
  • Cash Hunt — a wall of hidden multipliers is shuffled; each player picks a target.
  • Pachinko — a puck drops through a wall of pegs onto a row of multipliers. "Double" sends it again with all values doubled.
  • Crazy Time — the presenter enters a virtual room with a second, bigger wheel where each player chooses one of three flappers.

The numbers

The return depends on the bet. Published figures range from roughly 94% to 96%, with the number 1 usually the highest. Multipliers can climb very high — up to 20,000x under the game rules — but the largest results are, by design, extremely rare. The help screen inside the game lists the current rules.
